What is radiofrequency treatment?
Radiofrequency (RF) treatment uses controlled radiofrequency energy to create targeted tissue heating — for example in the nasal passages, tonsils, or other areas depending on the procedure.
In ENT care, RF may reduce enlarged tissue, decrease chronic nasal inflammation, or modify certain structures when indicated — such as allergic rhinitis not responding to initial treatment, nasal obstruction, or snoring related to narrowed airways.
